Poolside Holidays 

Between Mid May and Mid September guests can enjoy the use of our stunning outdoor pool. Refurbished with a new pool liner in 2022 the pool is the perfect place to take a dip. The pool is 30 ft by 15 ft and access is by roman steps at the shallow end which is 3 ft deep. The deep end is 6 ft deep and access is by metal steps. Set in our pretty gardens and complete with sun loungers why not put your feet up and relax poolside at Ferndale. 

The pool is shared between guests of our two holiday lets and only guests can use the pool. As the pool is situated at our family home we will also use it from time to time, however we strive to give guests their privacy to enjoy the facilities. Pool facilities are open between 10am and 4pm everyday. Pool facilities are used at your own risk as no lifeguard is present and children must be accompanied at all times. Please use your own towels for the pool. Woodpeckers enjoys direct access to the pool and gardens whilst guests of The Squirrels will need to cross the driveway and enter the grounds via a gravel path.

The Gardens

During your stay feel free to enjoy our extensive and pretty informal gardens. The perfect place for a morning potter or game with the family. Our resident dog may come and say hello and you may also see our free-range rescue hens. Enjoy the wild birds and wildlife that visit our garden.
